Imagine sitting down for an hour, getting to lay out and arrange pictures, add in captions + saved hashtags sets and then the ability to auto-schedule the posts so they go out while you are napping!! Or occupied doing something else productive. This sounds like something out of a dream, right? Wrong! This is something I actually use to save me SO much time!

The trick of the trade is a social media scheduling platform for Instagram called Later. This social media app and social media scheduler allows you to do just what was mentioned earlier. You can plan out your feed for as little or as long as possible! It is a lifesaver and allows you to do everything you would normally do when you post manually. The platform is straightforward and simple to understand. It’s very user friendly. The first step if you’ve never used Later before is to create an account and connect it to your Facebook and Instagram.

You can then go ahead and upload photos and graphics to the left side where all your media is stored. In this media library, you can filter it to only include unused images, so you will never have to worry about posting an image on your grid that you already have before! You also have the ability to search & repost other users' content all while being on Later. Plus, it will transfer over all the information you need to give them credit! 

Then, it’s up to you to start planning and writing out your captions for as long as you want! It’s easy to set aside an hour and commit to getting your captions written and feed arranged to how you like it. Once you’ve done this and are satisfied with what it all looks like, you can then go in and auto-schedule it to post at a specific time! Then it’s hands-off and smooth sailing from here! The only thing that you will need to post manually will be any carousel-type posts, videos or stories (check out our free story templates). Oh right, did we mention Later allows you to schedule stories too? It really can’t get much better.
