ROLE FILLED: Hiring Assistant Social Media Manager (Full-Time)
Homemade Social is looking to add a collaborative, creative, detail-oriented, and social media-obsessed Assistant Social Media Manager to our growing team!
This is a full-time position (40 hrs/week). Candidate must be able to work Monday, Wednesday & Thursday in our Phoenix, AZ office. No fully remote options are available.
The ideal candidate:
Is responsible for creating compelling graphic designs, copy, and short-form video content. This person creates a variety of social media posts. To be successful in this role, you must be a creative thinker with an emphasis on quality work and attention to detail.
We’re a team (and act like it!), and we expect this candidate to collaborate with the rest of our agency in a fun, professional manner.
Duties and Responsibilities

Have a true passion for digital marketing
Assist the Content Manager and Creative Director with graphic design needs for social media and email marketing
LOVE graphic design and are versed in Photoshop, InDesign, & Canva
Assist with creating fun content for Reels or TikTok
Plan & design an aesthetically pleasing Instagram grid in no time
Know your way around Later - our favorite Instagram scheduling tool
Listen, respond, ask questions, and engage with our clients’ audiences
Launch, grow, and manage channels where relevant ensuring milestones are set and met
Execute social media publishing strategies ensuring that all posts are accurate, punctual, safe and on-brand
Analyze campaign data to track performance and evaluate campaign ROI.
Assist and collaborate with the team in developing concepts and content calendars for clients.
Consistently create clear and compelling copy free of spelling, grammatical and formatting errors.
Adhere to the brand guidelines for each client.
Work on multiple client projects; meet assigned deadlines, respond to email inquiries.
Participate in team meetings and complete ongoing training.
Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, social media, journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience).
1+ years of marketing and social media experience
Prior experience creating social media posts & graphics required
Advanced knowledge of social media platforms such as Instagram; experience creating online content
Pay:
$40-42k/year, depending on experience
