How to Remove a TikTok Watermark for IG Reels
If you haven’t already heard, Instagram is now supposedly limiting the reach of Reels when a TikTok watermark is detected in the video. From the perspective of Instagram as a business, this makes total sense. Who would want their competitor’s logo plastered all over their app?! No one.
However, this news was a huge annoyance for many social media managers and content creators because let’s be honest- despite the feature being available for several months now, the interface of IG Reels is still not as user friendly as TikTok. Regardless, users are now expected to ditch the ease of TikTok in order to avoid limiting their reach on Instagram. This news left brands like ours wondering how they were going to continue making high quality content with (we hate to say it because we love you IG…) low quality tools.

SNAPTIK TUTORIAL TO REMOVE TIKTOK WATERMARK
Alexa, play “1, 2 Step” by Ciara. Homies, this might just be the most basic tutorial you’ve ever seen. It really is only two steps!
STEP ONE
On your desktop or mobile Safari app, head to https://snaptik.app/ and paste the link to your TikTok in the search bar. Click the green download button to process.
STEP TWO
On the right side of the screen, click the blue button that reads “Download Server 01” to download and save the new video that no longer contains the TikTok watermark.
BAM- you’re done! Now just upload the video to your favorite IG Reels scheduling tool or post it directly to Instagram.
OUR EXPERIENCE

Now, here’s the real question: was the watermark the reason why this video became our most-viewed IG Reel yet or was it just quality content that users particularly enjoyed?
