Homemade Social HQ Reveal

Eeep!! We’ve been teasing our new office on IG Stories for a few months now and are SO excited to finally share the full transformation with you all. But first, a backstory… 💭

2021 was a big year for Homemade Social! We started last year with our CEO + 2 part-time employees, and ended the year with our CEO + 3 full-time employees, 1 part-time employee, and a contractor. Unreal! Come 2022, we knew we were in need of a bigger office, so we said goodbye to our v cute 350 sq foot OG HQ and moved into a new 900 sq foot office a few miles down the road.

We also made the phenomenal decision to team up with our incredibly talented friends at House of Form for some killer interior design work and can’t wait for you to see how they worked their magic! Keep browsing to explore our new Homemade Social HQ reveal.

The Lobby

Does House of Form know how to design a grand entrance or what?! Mid-century modern and retro collide in this entry space and we can’t get enough of it.

Focusing on larger pieces first, we swapped out the purple couch (IYKYK) from our former office for this iconic, floating chair-like blush loveseat. Styled with an abstract throw pillow and flanked by two stone side tables, we love how these glam and organic elements came together. The beige handwoven rug added just the right amount of coziness to truly welcome guests into this elevated seating area.

Just behind the couch we added a peel and stick wallpaper (yep, renter-friendly!) from House of Form’s sister company (and our client 🥰), Form Paper Co. We’re obsessed with how well the colorway aligned with our branding! To contrast the accent wall, we centered a white art piece above the loveseat and a cylinder light pendant above each side table.

As we move over to our lobby’s gallery wall, you might recognize a few decor pieces! House of Form’s Principle Designer, Dala, had the GENIUS idea of re-purposing the rotary phones from our previous photoshoot by hanging them from the ceiling as decor pieces. Behind the phones we hung a photo of our CEO from that exact shoot and divided it into 9 frames. So fun!

The Conference Room

Across the lobby is our Conference Room, where we host regular team meetings, client video calls, and, of course, occasionally catch up on the latest episode of the Kardashians while we finish out our work day.

If you’re an OG Homie, this room might look familiar to you as we were able to incorporate several pieces from our last office, including the meeting table, chairs, and tv stand. On top of the meeting table, we styled a wicker tray with a ceramic double orb vase filled with artificial leaves.

We filled in the blank wall space adjacent to the exposed brick with a white floating shelf and small, medium, and large wall art. To tie the artworks’ pop of color into the remainder of the space, we added a fun pink and ivory rug. We love the modern and textural twist it all added to the space!

Becca’s Office

Around the corner, you’ll find our Owner and CEO Becca’s office. Serving as a focal point of the room, we repeated the same peel and stick wallpaper from the lobby into this office in a green colorway. In front of the accent wall, we styled a handwoven rug, Becca’s desk (topped with a stunning globe lamp), her chair, and two poufs to maximize seating without overcrowding the space.

Across from Becca’s desk is an arched full-length mirror, perfect for capturing @bbook’s latest Nuuly finds. Peeking in the corner of the mirror selfies you might notice a glazed ceramic vase and a textured vase filled with faux, ivory pampas grass. Filling in wall space to the left of the mirror, we added a macrame wall hanging arch with tassels, a large framed canvas, and embroidered artwork.

Lastly, to finish off the space, we hung small and large brass floating shelves on the exposed brick and styled with our 2022 Best of the Valley Award, a custom HMS calendar, and cute plant. We’re obsessed!

The Team Room

The door next over leads to the Team Room, where the remainder of the team works and collaborates. Aren’t the windows in this room to die for?! You better believe we purchased a photo background wall mount to take advantage of this A1 lighting.

In this room, we have our four employees’ desks and chairs (topped with a cozy, striped throw blanket) pushed up against the windows. This creates an open aisle and walkway between the opposite wall where intern desks and chairs are found. Above each of the three intern desks, we hung geometric artwork (click for one, two, & three) from our past office that still remains our favorite.

In the corner of the Team Room, we styled a textured accent chair on top of an abstract rug. We further filled in the space with an arched full-body mirror, a large vase of uva stalk, and throw pillows.

The Kitchenette

We may or may not have saved the best space for last (kidding - we just really love snacks). Around the corner of our lobby is a kitchenette with built-in cabinets from Cabinet Solutions (props to Becca’s dad for installing 😎🔧), pink glazed ceramic tile, a floating shelf, a microwave, and a full-sized refrigerator.

We hope you all enjoyed exploring our new office transformation! Huge thank you to House of Form for capturing our vision so beautifully with the interior design. We can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us in our new home.

xx,

The Homies
