Case Study: Living with Lolo x Homemade Social

Our partnership with Scottsdale-based interior design firm, Living With Lolo, began in October 2021, and we couldn’t be more proud of how the brand as grown during our time together. Through a consistent social media strategy, email marketing, SEO-optimized blogs, social media advertising, and more, we’ve helped grow Living With Lolo’s Instagram following from 9.7k to  17.8k — an 83% increase within the 3 years we’ve worked together! Let’s dive into the strategies we implemented to help this interior design firm grow their digital presence through our services.

In early 2024, Living With Lolo took on a transformative project — purchasing and renovating a home in the prestigious Candlewood Estates at Troon North. Their team gave the property, dubbed the Sutherland Project, a full-gut renovation, turning it into a luxurious 5,001-square-foot home that mirrored the design of a 5-star prestige home. In addition to the home’s elevated style and functionality, being designed by an interior design firm recognized by  Architectural Digest and the Wall Street Journal further enhanced its appeal to high-end buyers.

So, how did our marketing agency play a part in this? Here are 3 ways our partnership ultimately set up the Living With Lolo team to secure the major sale of this stunning property!

Creating Consistent, Quality Content

We know the importance of a solid, consistent presence on social media when it comes to growth. With this in mind, we’ve spent the entirety of our partnership creating Instagram Reels, Stories, Carousels, and more that would be reflective of the interior design firm’s high-end services. In our content, we showcased their work, company culture, mission, press features, and client reviews that proved their talents and expertise. By already having a strong, recognizable social media presence, they were able to make the most out of this investment property. While promoting the Sutherland Project, we planned out 35 posts over a 5-month period to maximize reach on this property.

Developing Strategic Partnerships

Through the support of their established social media presence, Living With Lolo was able to secure social media partnerships that went live across multiple platforms. These partnerships were secured in part due to our agency’s efforts in developing a long-term, strategic social media plan and a considerable following size.

Thanks to their influential presence on Instagram, Living With Lolo was able to land key partnerships for this investment property with brands like Zia Tile, Vadara Quartz, Bradley USA, and Concretti Designs, which contributed significantly to maximizing the project’s profitability. These partnerships not only helped offset renovation costs by $12,200+, but they also brought additional value to both Living With Lolo and their partners by expanding their reach by over 314K! As her marketing agency, we managed all partnership posting requirements and established a cohesive presence on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, which positioned Living With Lolo, and her partners Zia Tile, Vadara Quartz, and Concretti Designs for success.

Consistent, Reliable Communication

One of the cornerstones of our white-glove service is providing consistent, reliable communication throughout our partnership with Living With Lolo. From day one, we’ve made it a priority to ensure that every marketing effort is aligned with their goals while keeping them informed and supported at every step. Our white-glove approach means we don’t just react — we work proactively to handle all partnership details. This was heavily enacted when Living With Lolo trusted us with supporting them through executing the aforementioned social media partnerships. We created a seamless experience that allowed their team to release the reins from their social media.

This dedication to white-glove service has ensured Living With Lolo can focus on delivering exceptional design services for their clients, knowing their digital presence is expertly managed.

Upon promoting the stunning home’s renovation across our social media channels and email, the Sutherland Project sold for $3,250,000 in September 2024. This price tag equated to an impressive $650 per square foot — over 32% higher than the average price per square foot in Candlewood Estates. This extraordinary price was driven in part by the social media influence Living With Lolo cultivated, the strategic partnerships, and the elevated design that turned the home into a must-have luxury property.

This success is a testament to the power of a long-term, strategic partnership between our agency and Living With Lolo. In an analysis done by Living With Lolo's team, Instagram was tied for their top lead source, leading to 34% of Living With Lolo's highest-spending clients in 2024. Their team also found a majority of their clients are active on Instagram, proving the importance of building their presence on the social media platform over time and the efforts of our services. Through this strategic approach, we not only grew Living With Lolo’s online presence but opened doors to, new business opportunities, revenue streams, brand partnerships, and ultimately a record-setting real estate transaction. We’re thrilled to continue this partnership and look forward to more growth!
